can't create a game

i have been trying for 2 days nows. read all forums and still can't get it. when i create a game in canyon i get "warning, you seem to be on a private network, configure nat" i can create the game but no one can join in. i know its probably my router settings, but if someone could help me set it up would be great. i have a linksys e2500 router. thanx

Please setup your router so it lets pass the ports ("port redirection") to your PC where you're running the server. And also open the Firewall for those ports on your PC.

ManiaPlanet/TrackMania² Canyon requires TCP ports 80 & 443. Important note: Modifying your firewall settings may reduce the security of the computer it affects. Most of the dedicated servers use ports in the 2350-2450 and 3450-3550 range, for both TCP and UDP.

in single port forwarding i have enabled port 80 and port 443, and in port range i enabled 2350 to 2450 and 3450 to 3550. i even disabled the windows firewall, but still no go. can create a game and people can see me but they can't join in on my race. i still get nat not configured error at beginning of race. i even ran a program to convert my ip address to static, but that didn't work either

Please post a screenshot of the advanced network configuration of ManiaPlanet (in the Launcher dialog)
Configure --> Advanced --> Network.

here is a pic of my advanced network configuration of ManiaPlanet.(link) does anyone see anything wrong with it. i'm having problems with the nat error and can't create a game that other people will see.

Did you try the following things:
- check the box "use local address"? As the router is doing NAT, this could work.
- Add your local IP in the server adress box ("use local adress" checked and also unchecked)
- Put the IP of the router (the IP you have on the internet in fact) in the server address box ("use local adress" checked and also unchecked)

If you're unsure, you better ask your friend who is helping you

i tried it checked and unchecked with ip in but still no go. i will keep working on it though. its probably something simple, but just have to figure out what. thanx for trying anyway. if i figure it out i will post my fix
