Unlocking Green

I purchased Trackmania 2 Stadium and played all of the white tracks. Do I need to achieve gold on all white tracks before the green tracks will unload? I always thought they gave you the first five tracks on each level. I currently have all silver and about half gold on the white tracks and still no higher level tracks are unlocked. Am I missing something or do I need all golds? Thanks for the input, didn't know where else to post, been playing since the original.

rest of campaign will be unlocked at the game release. no way to get it now yet (:
