I doubt that ManiaPlanet games will be on the next-gen consoles. The only real console port there was, was Trackmania Wii and Trackmania DS, which were both not coded by NADEO itself (if I'm not mistaken there was another company who worked on those versions)

If someone else does it like Firebrand did with the DS and Wii ports then sure, I could see that bringing a much bigger audience to MP (of people who aren't biased to expect more of the same as TMN-/TMU-F), especially if it's cross-platform compatible. Or whatever you call that.

Otherwise I agree with Omixor, Zarexz and Stefan. Nadeo still has a lot to do on Maniaplanet and I'd like to see them focus on making the best experience for us (or, I guess, laying the groundwork for us to make the best experience for ourselves!) without having to spend months porting every new title to seven systems.

Plus there's the matter of editors being a lot easier to use and a lot easier to share your work on PC. Even if it's ported in the best possible way I still think the editors will be very frustrating to use with a gamepad.
