ManiaPlanet 2 Beta Server 2013-04-11

Good evening!

Here is an update to iron out the most outstanding issues:

(if you already had the 2013-04-09 version, here is the difference:

It is compatible with the current maniaplanet version.

Main Changes:
  • the memleak issue should be fixed. (And it was a tricky one!)
  • most of the game modes and scripts have been slightly updated,
    and notably the royal mode should now accept the all the maps again; and heroes should be fine as well.

Is it enough to change only the dedicated server file?

You're a rock star xbx! Way to tackle the memleak issue!

Also, what does it mean when you say "royal mode should now accept all the maps again..." -- are you referring to the problem with pads that didn't have poles? If so, will Obstacle work again too, or will their script need to be modified?

nope, unfortunately, we fixed it in the script. (by accepting botg Tag=="goal" and tag=="checkpoint" I guess.)
so obstacle also has to be modified, sorry.

This 59943089 bytes file cannot be unzipped.

The event TrackMania.PlayerFinish is also fired twice when the maps is loaded after a map change, on respawn or finish it is fired only once.
