Game wont launch

thanks for the logfile.
unfortunately, I forgot the debug version is not the appropriate for the Steam setup.
But it still shows the same issue: "Win32 Exception : Private Instruction"

Did you add ManiaPlanet to the list of managed games in the nVidia Control Panel?
Are there almost all options set to "default (game)" or similar?

What happens if in Steam you first chose the configuration of ManiaPlanet? Does the Launcher application appears, where you can go for advanced configuration?
Could you please post screenshots of the video driver settings there (also the "compatibilty" dialog).

Yes, exactly there... do you have ManiaPlanet in the "program settings" (second tab)?

Oh, forgot that. No i haven't fiddled with that at all for MP, so everything should be default(?).

yeah, default, or handeled by the game.
If you have any setting that the game doesn't like, it might result in a crash, but this is very unlikely.

Added it to the program list to check, but no difference and everything is "Application-controlled" or default.

I can't understand that no one else seems to have the same problem that's the most interesting part. Normally there's already a thread with the solution for the problems you experience.

well, not everyone has exactly the same machine, not the same setup.

what other applications are you running?

which video driver version?

Driver software pretty much: Razor lycosa, Steelseries Sensei RAW and Usb PnP sound device. Then the more or less standard things Realtek HD and Nvidia control panel. Nvidia drivers 314.22. Avast as antivirus but have tried disabling that.

Please try with the absolute minimum, close all applications on the task bar.
also try running without the USB sound device.
