Same here, using xbox ctrlr, can only bind one not both desired inputs (accel and brake) to the triggers.

Was really looking forward to winding down playing my fav racing game. am sad now. :cry:

-Just started TM2;
-Updated 4 Files; Restart; Updated 2 Files;
-Checked Input settings;
-Saw a new option "Accelerate & brake (analog)";
-Set it to Z-Axis (Trigger on Xbox Controller);
-Works like a charm.

Thank you very much for a quick fix! I really appreciate it :)

Cheers and happy racing!

I don't get it, is it supposed to allow us to use both triggers at the same time ? Or it just reenables to set the combined axis to both triggers ?

If I set the trigger to "Accelerate & brake (analog)", I see the Z-axis, but ingame it's just like before (since TMU) : if you brake and accelerate at the same time, the axis is centered, thus it does nothing (no throttle nor brake) and you can't make the car drift/slide.

Going back to using Xpadder then.

Will the 360 pad (or just XInput) be fully supported someday ? There's no rumble as well :(

:thx:

Great! Thanks for the quick response and great communication!

@Above: Bind your z axis to analog accel/brake bind (the combined one) and when you play it should automatically use the left trigger for brake and the right for accel.

xinput support would definitely be a plus in the future since the 360 controller seems such a frequencly used one.

Yeah that's what happen, but you can't do both at the same time, and in TM, you have to brake while accelerating to make the car slide or drift, which is impossible with this combined acceleration/brake action on a single axis.

From what i remember it was like this before, because the left trigger is -Zaxis and the right is +Zaxis, so if you push both it's zero (thus doing nothing).
I just flip the triggers for cases when i need to break and accelerate at the same time (for drifting).
Hope it helps somehow.

Cheers

Yeah, any news on the issue?

It really sucks that I can't use the triggers like this anymore :(
