[TM2] Unable to join servers

I can see the server list, download updates ok, rankings etc work, however I'm unable to actually join a server and just get "Please Wait" until I escape out of it.

TM is allowed on Windows Firewall, and I have BT Infinity (12Mb download / 13.5Mb upload) through a BT home hub.

Some players couldn't join servers and fixed their issue by restarting their router and then configure it for using maniaplanet.

Are well you running maniaplent.exe as adminstrator? Did you also try to join several servers?

Ok, I've made progress on this ... so far, while being an administrator and having tried several servers in different countries, resetting router and modem, resetting PC, and replacing router, with no change.

I went into the TM network settings, hit 'reset to default' (even though it was already default) and now it connects for one track. A change of track pushes me out to the server browse menu ... close, but no cigar. I'm going to invest in Stadium now (was on the closed beta under a different username) and see if that behaves, lol

I don't remember ever having problems like this with Sunshine and TMU/F!

Is your PC connected with a cable to your modem, or are you using wireless connection?

Please check the modem/router if it has port forwarding enabled and if it matches with your PCs current IP adress.

My bad, it's been a while and my memory isn't so great these days ... I'm on a wireless connection, last night I spent a good hour or so hopping between Canyon servers without problems, but then if I swap over to Valley or Stadium it won't connect; sometimes I'm getting a server list, sometimes not even that, but then it'll let me into something randomly for a little while.

I think we're going to get a new router soon anyway, which could fix it I guess. Anyway, I'm enjoying the solo stuff so it's not the end of the world ... sometime this week I might throw TMUF on too and see how that behaves.

and if you directly start Valley as first game? make sure you're on the top list (go up from your region to world).
You also might try the legacy browser (small black rectangle at the bottom left).
