# Suggestions

Post by appor »

Hi
I put suggestions to this topic

# Trimmer:

Could trim and cut parts off.

or

Used like copypaste tool, mark the area yellow, press del and it cuts the portion off. With trimmer could keep up part floating and still build underneath normally, also create faster all around access where needed. For example build "cave hole" paths inside castle block chunks. Window holes, etc

Trim portitions:

Craft pillars from castle block, fit pillar to different locations in block space
http://imageshack.com/scaled/800x600/10/mwuz.jpg

Could create "drop holes" on top of castle floor and paths inside, etc

Craft areas like modelling clay:

The marking brush tip could be like offzone size but much smaller, so can make very detailed cuts if needed, like look out windows that are inside castle block, or some hole cracks to fence wall. And use area marking for cutting bigger areas.

- Small brush tip:

- Could build small "houses" and other similar with detailed small tip:

Just extra idea: Different styled "brush tips". Upward slope tip, rough edged tip (like a rough cave wall, for design), round tip, micro tip (to get detail). With different tips could manually craft areas and buildings like a sculpture.

With some more effort, could build small citys and ghetto looking construction: Think about all the buildings in pic like castleblock chunks:

- Could go inside those buildings. Small crafted stairs goes inside or jump pad to highest floor. Could be like railgun at some balcony window etc ideas.

Just one another idea for same outcome if it can inspirate to something:

Same principle blocks that are used to build mountain insides, but own set for castle block, and could cut openings and craft castle blocks with those

Just examples of different sized blocks:

Medium:

Micro:

Angled:

+ normal sized cut blocks (1x2 etc)

- The micro block would be great for making thinner walls or ledges, holes etc details. Build fine tunes
- Angled block to make levels inside.

^ Just simple fun example of houses

For just a extra idea: Round shaped block to make tunnels, tubes or design shapes. Could be cool to have tube with round walls and you can walk higher in that slope, like feets get still grabbed when is at half way

^^ Something like that, but smaller and smooth walls to make it flowy, but its just extra idea

It would be very very good... but... i think that is impossible with the current engine...

This stuff looks very similare with Voxel (without destruction)... and to implement Voxel it needs some long and hardwork...

(Everquest Landwark use voxel construction... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gvSRXZZwec)

An other solution is to use some small custom block (as in Royal exp with cube)
OS:Windows 8.1 x64
