Best creative ideas/work of community

Hey maniafolks,

Maniaplanet is a world where every form of creativeness is welcome. People like building and sharing maps, creating new modes, developing manialinks, publishing titlepacks, providing suggestions for a better gameplay etc. They really put effort in their work and mostly they aren't noticed, but they deserve much more attention.
To avoid that, I would like to create a list of the best creative ideas of the community. The list will be made by your top 3 votes which ideas you personally find best. Here are some informations/rules:

Rules/informations:
- The 'creative idea' is any form of creativeness in Maniaplanet ( Modes, Titlepacks, Manialinks, suggestions, ideas, skins, films ). I would like to leave out maps because this list is more regarded for modes, titlepacks etc.
- The list will be made up by YOUR votes, which creative ideas you personally find most impressive
--> Your top 3 votes shall be linked to a topic, so it's easily to find it. If there is no topic belonging to the idea, pls describe how to find it.
--> Your votes shall be posted here, not in the belonging topic.
--> Please not more than 3 votes.
--> The votes should not be about your ideas. The aim of this topic is to promote other people with their ideas, not yourself.
--> Please describe in one or two sentences about what the 'creative idea' is about. Pls add which kind of form it is, for example a 'mode' or a 'manialink'?
--> Please vote only for unknown ideas. The aim is to support hidden ideas! But if you think, that this idea is as good that it needs more attention, do not hesitate!

An example of how you can do your top-3-list. This are actually my votes as well:
1) Under Siege titlepack - Titlepack: This mode is based on the official gamemode ''Siege'' of Shootmania Storm, but intended to be more competitive: 5vs5
2) Weather settings - suggestion: This suggestion is about additional weather settings in Trackmania.
3) Multiplayer Editor - suggestion: One guy is developing on a editor where more people can join the editor and edit the map on the same time.

Yes, it is quite similiar but this list is more general, than only regarded to custom titles as in your link.
Any form of creativity is allowed to be voted ( Suggestions, modes, titelpacks, skins, manialinks..). Just no maps are allowed.

Hopefully, this will succeed.

The general idea is to promote some really great creative work of the community, especially work, which is actually pretty unknown. Unkown projects have no success on longer time. It shall achieve that these great ideas receive more attention. So the community selects the best creative ideas/work by voting them. Community helps the community.
The creative idea/work can be any form: Suggestion to improve the game or add new stuff ( As my vote for 'Weather Settings' in Trackmania ), Modes ( There are thousands of great modes out there, which are basically not known of the most people! For instance, the mode 'Capture the flag' is awesome but unknown ).
The 'best of list' has the aim that very nice work shall not be forgotten and they deserve more attention! Attention means more support, criticsm if it's needed etc. It is basically an additional advertisement for tough, great work.

makes sense, but the list won't grow by itself, and I doubt this thread will get a lot of attention either ^^ but hope is always nice. here's my 2 cents:
Card Melee - titlepack; works like Melee, except at the start of the round, you pick your weapons, ammo, and "power-ups";
TM2 United - automated servers rotation between three TM2 envis.

Actually I'm wondering, Soprah.
Do you really intend to raise votes also for suggestions or wishes of things which aren't even done yet?
E.g. you showed the weather option, regardless of how this would actually get implemented.

To be more concrete, votes about already existing stuff would make more sense.
Examples:
TM² Blockmixing tools
SM Obstacle and Speedball titles

Omnixor, I am proud that I could help you out. Yes, it may be that this little project won't receive much attention, but it has one reason to be popular: Maniaplanet is a universe where people develop brilliant ideas and these people make Maniaplanet so awesome. If the community concerns about Maniaplanet and their great ideas/work, people will support them and help the creators as much as they can. Even if the community in Maniaplanet is very cooperative, friendly, there are still projects/ideas/work which are quite unknown or just not noticed by people. I would like to change that, because Maniaplanet is a place where every form of creativeness is welcome and supported.
This may be the perfect time to refer to the question of TMarc, if it is really neccessary to vote for 'non-existing' things as well. As I have mentioned above, creativeness deserves it's attention and and the support of the community too. The creator are actually working for the community or at least trying to make Maniaplanet a better place. It doesn't depend of which form the creative idea/work actually has. It is more important which strong effect the idea has, for example great suggestion for better gameplay. So why not promoting/voting for them?



Please keep voting, I think the creators would be happy to see somebody who cares about their ideas.

[ Just by the way: I have seen in the topic ''Weather settings'' which I have voted in my example of my first post that there is actually a new post ( after 3 months )! This guy might read this topic right here with my vote-example and decided to look in the belonging topic ( Weather settings ) about this great idea. This little project might succeed for the future ]

Thanks for your clarification, you have raised very good points
The vots might not necessarily boost nor help some smaller developments, but at least the creators will see that others are really waiting for them
