Your question comes far too early. Only in one or two years we will know whether Mantle will prevail and whether possible benefits are worth learning, programming and supporting the new API (in addition to DirectX).

A similar question is the porting to 64 bit. To be able to address more than 2 GB of RAM is very attractive. But is this so much worth to maintain two versions of the game?

Well, Nadeo still has to do something regarding AMD cards and the random occurences of wallhack they get. (Not gonna go into detail about how this can be achieved for obvious reasons). Obviously Mantle is no solution for that, but they need to get some work done regarding AMD cards nonetheless, and this would be a good place to start if nothing else.
