How to reconnect? [solved: restore IE defaults]

either i am stupid , either my pc has a problem, the fact is that after the last connection cutout while i was playing online (due to bad weather), every time i start tha game it indicates that i do not have internet connection.i press the reconnect button and a retry screen appears. this loop can be done infinite times , it just bugs there so i m forced to press the stay offline button to at least play the tracks on my pc. i ve tried everything , please help me , i want to play online again.

Check the internet settings of Windows, if it is not offline (you can do this also with Internet Explorer if you have version 10 or older).
Probably Windows went into offline mode due to the disconnection, and since then all applications like ManiaPlanet which are using the Windows internet API don't work anymore.

everything seems ok , i checked every possible tab at internet settings and also at firewall settings. there no indications for offline or non-working or anything like that, i even tried to re-download TM2 but the problem still continues. could you be more specific at where exactly should i look? ( i have windows 7 + IE9 )

Start IE, then try to access any site you know, like www.maniaplanet.com. It should automatically go online.
You might also need to open the menu of IE (e.g. ALT+F). And there should be a option with "Offline" or "Offline mode" or so. If you see a tickmark, remove it, and then ManiaPlanet should work.

took me a bit to find it in my language, well that was ok too and guess what , it still doesn't work lol . what about TM network configurations, any ideas?

one thing you could try: delete the settings file (ManiaPlanet\Config\Default.System.Config.Gbx).

One question: did you already try to reinstall the game?

yes i already tried to re-install it, didn't work. ok i deleted the file , still nothing.
BUT i managed to fix it by restoring defaults at network advanced configurations of the game!

Oh , it happened again ofc and as a result it seems that in order to be fixed , i have to both open IE and restore game's defaults so this is the solution everyone.
