Maniaplanet 3 update issues

I am unable to update maniaplanet trough the gamelauncher.
Is there anyway to skip the update and still play the game online, for the time being?
Or is there a standalone patch i could download?

And yes, i'm atm unable to download the game again.

Please tell exactly what your problem is.
The launcher is not doing the downloads btw.

Look in your installation folder if you have temporary files.
Sometimes the updater fails to rename files because they are locked by antivirus software.
If you have e.g. Maniaplanet.tmp but maniaplanet.exe is missing, rename the tmp accordingly to ManiaPlanet.exe


But I fear you won't be able to run the game properly without fresh new install.
A patch to older version is not and will never be available.

Ofc, maniaplanet is doing the update.

The problem is, the download automaticly resets itself.
I belief that this is, because i lose connection to the server for a couple of seconds.
It would be nice, if the download would resume itself.
Like it used to do before. Now it just resets and starts over, what makes it hard for me to download.

I know its only 27mb, but it do not have a better inet connection available at the moment.
(and belief me this is a pain in the bud for weeks now. xD)

Thats why i was wondering if there was a standalone update patch, i could download somewhere else.
To patch my game to the latest update.
(not a patch to a older version, i can still play the game if i disconnect myself of the network.
But than again only offline mode is available, what i am atm playing.)

There is no standalone update patch. The setup of the player page have been updated for information.

It seems like quite a few players have problems with the in-game updates. It would be really appreciated if updates could be downloaded externally. Limited bandwith impedes the possibility to download the setup.exes with every new update. Most importantly, because those setup.exes still require in-game updates to be downloaded.

Haven't been able to play Maniaplanet since the last update and I'm not sure when I'll be able to play again, reading that there will be new updates again.
