Re: XMLRPC causing Lagspikes

Could the network settings be part of the cause?
E.g. Ethernet frame length, fragmentation of packets?
Or some firewall issue?

Is this server directly attached to the same subnet as the other servers which are running fine?

Or perhaps some cache or cached operation is activated.
Just an idea.

Even if the dedicated and the controller are on the same machine, the dedicated needs to send these manialinks to the players. So yes, network settings is a possible explanation.

Do the manialinks contain any maniascript ? Because it´s known that persistence variables causing lags in some situations. Or does this happen with all other xmlrpc calls too ?
