Bought Canyon on steam cant redeem on Maniaplanet [fixed]

I have SM Storm, TM2 Stadium, ON MANIAPLANET...

i bought canyon on steam... when i use key from steam in playerpage or ingame it says "this key requires Steam"

i srsly do NOT want to play canyon from steam and all other stuff from maniaplanet ...
What to do? ( i rather play the demo from maniaplanet...so if this is not resolved i will ask paypal for my money back..)

download the steam version of canyon, and login with your maniaplanet account. this way canyon will be "activated" on your maniaplanet account, and will appear in maniaplanet client. (I think that should work, never used steam version)

i dont want to "waste" the key somehow... cant that happen? i did not even installed it.,.. i just have it in steam libary...

Also, i already have the demo installed in maniaplanet... so i rly need to download it again..?

EDIT : installed steam version > logged into old account > and i have full version of Canyon > uninstalled steam version > still working...

You need to login in with your Maniaplanet account (the one u have stadium-storm) through steam and you will find the activation the same way you can see it in the demo u have, use the key there and it will get activated and u will be able to play it and outside of steam.
