Anyway of taking a step back to a previous update? I'm constantly running test's within the games that require this platform to run it and for the past couple years I need an older version of the game(s) and I already have it purchased but have no clue how or if i can go back an update and so i have no where else to turn to except to pirate a copy.
If there is no such thing, they really should consider coming out with something such as this, would be a big help for those who are interested in testing.

Re: Going back a version
If you want to go back to an old version, then you can go in any server, have fewer features and are excluded from support.

Re: Going back a version
I'm afraid that it is not possible to change your client version back to a previous version.
What kind of platform are you talking about, by the way?

Re: Going back a version
What other platforms are there besides the maniaplanet? Unless you're referring to (Ex. shootmania, canyon, valley, etc) maniaplanet's games, in this case it's canyon.TheM wrote:What kind of platform are you talking about, by the way?
I tried making a couple of installs long time ago but with enough luck, it won't ask you to go online and update. Sadly, the one that i have an old version of is now broke and won't let me do anything with so the only place I can turn to is pirate a copy.

Maybe I misread what you typed, but I meant: what kind of tests are you performing?diablo182 wrote:What other platforms are there besides the maniaplanet? Re: Going back a version
Some updates that maniaplanet rolls out will make certain or all PF(press forward) maps unplayable to where it won't complete(physics).
Another is to play maps created using newer version on old version and with none of the additional new blocks added into the map. I noticed some maps you can't play on an older version and the error "unassigned" will appear leaving me confused.

Re: Going back a version
Going back to previous versions will of course exclude the support and it doesn't need to have the MP(multiplayer) mode with it since its a test install. All it needs is the same features you get in offline mode.ManiaDesign wrote:If you want to go back to an old version, then you can go in any server, have fewer features and are excluded from support.
Re: Going back a version
You might be able to use a old installer if someone kept it, but although you can have a older server version, the game client is always getting updated automatically, or it stops working.
Regarding the 'unassigned' scriot error, this is known by Nadeo, but it will only be fixed after their summer vacation, probably next month.
