Yes this happens in MM all the time.
Already reported by me earlier this week. Its annoying cuz you cancel ur substitution & u get a penalty.
Now all ur allied friends need to wait.

it´s still happening...

in fact I faced the overkill yesterday... the server wanted to send me in as a substitute which i cancelled... after the 2 minutes of waiting the server told me "sending you back to the game you just left" (i never was a part of that match...)... I had to cancel this as well which gave me additional 4minutes of waiting time... so all in all we had to wait 6minutes which was quite a waste of time^^

if it has been deployed, does it automatically work on the servers or is it possible that it´s still not working cause the servers haven´t been updated yet?

I've fixed the issue, it will be deployed (without client nor server update) in a few minutes.

I do not know if this issue belongs to this topic or any nadeo developer already knew about it but I give it a try:

A few minutes earlier, I was playing on the matchmaking server. I should have joined a match as a substitute. When I tried to join the server as a substitute, there was a error ''too many players on this server''. I was sent back to MM and had the 2min penalty
