One of htem getting fixed?

Yeah, this is why you don't have a bigger community... cuz things that should be simple things to begin with takes years to get fixed.

And your mantra is "Just be positive, this will all be better in 15 years"

Get fucking real.

So one issue is that you need more and better bug reports?
Wouldn't it be more effective to add a proper bugreport tool to the game like in many other games? Thus everyone would be able to report bugs in the correct way. Reporting bugs in the forums is usually not that easy as it is not obvious for the player which information to provide ;)

Maybe something like for example Mantis: http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/mantisbt:features
which is written in PHP and open source ?

Having a public bugtracker has been proposed before, but Nadeo has declined those proposals.
I guess we'll have to do it with these forums, unless Hylis has a change of heart, of course...

I agree that a forum allows better communication with the players and community but it is not organized enought and can't really be used to track a bug. Searching in a tool desinged to search for problems with status is easier then to search thought a Forum.

I think we need a solution were both the bug tracking and forul communicates. So for each bug that opens a forum topic opens and they are in communication. Well need to think about it but a solution using the best of both words would be great :)

And I think we need somthing to track changelogs as well :roflol:

Also, something for Nadeo to think about considering all the positive they're asking for all the time:

Do you remember alpha? Beta? Open beta and launch? Yeah, this game had lots of positivity back then.

Now it has much less.

Do you ever even consider that YOU are the reason for this? That people are fed up with bugs not getting fixed, the changes youve done to the game in a negative way?

Im assuming thoughts like this never enter into your head because in your own little world you can do nothing wrong (thats what it seems like publicly with never admitting to wrongdoings of any kind).

I mean, people used to make videos, talk about and in general do the free positive PR for you. These days there is much less of that and people are talking negatively about the game because of NADEO!

Yes, thats right. People have lost faith in YOU because of what youve done since those early days. Everyone kept saying that it held so much promise, that it could be good etc... Now theyve seen that it wont be because of the changes and the direction youre heading.

So yeah, maybe you should take a good look in the mirror and ask yourselves WHY there is more negativity these days compared to before.

And thats why I keep saying you should get real. You are delusional and keep asking for the community to do something that ultimately wont help unless YOU change too.

sadzealot, the developpers are not only there to chat with you personally.
It is normal they can't do everything for everyone, but these months, you show only bad attitude except only one or two posts where you apparently forgot the hatress... I hoped you were about to calm down, but wehn will you!?

Perhaps the developpers are only tired of your comments that only go into the same direction.
Why do you think they should do something especially for you?

But now you are (again?) blaming the whole compagny Nadeo, and that's totally unfair.
You don't like what they are doing, ok, and we know this since months and even more than a year already.
But Nadeo is more than just Hylis, Alinoa, Cerovan, and the few developpers you're sometimes see writing messages here.
You can perhaps blame Hylis for his communication, but you definitely can't blame the others, who are doing a lot.

Why do you not simply change first, and not always point directly at others and wait until they move?

And think well about this: who else than Nadeo should work on the games like Trackmania and ShootMania?
After all, they had the idea for this kind of game and editing possibilities, it is their game, their decision how to proceed, and what to develop in future.

Only because there is sometimes less information (especially around big vacation periods), this does not mean there is not any activity.
Probably they are working on stunning stuff that will be released in a few months, and which they can't reveal at the moment.

Remember of concept studies and exhibitions for cars: there is always the mention that this is not the final product, and that it will change until it is produced in series. They do it so customers can't blame them that some stuff is not there.

I am reading some of these topics to understand the hole problem better.
I actually played Shootmania since BETA 2 and Trackmania stadium some weeks after and stopped playing some months ago, I still sometimes play the games, because it's awesome, but mostly I stop fast, just because of the low playerbase (mainly sm).
And that is what creates an even bigger negative impact on the playerbase, people playing less or not anymore because of the already smaller playerbase compared to before.
Suggestions that I could give, are:
- Trying to do more advertisement, ask Ubisoft, because they own it all and they are for the marketing right?
- ESL esports: bigger tournaments for both shootmania and trackmania (like with lol, dota2 and csgo), also looking for people that want to play competitively, because there are not many teams anymore I guess.
- Finding ways to bring the community and the playerbase more together, because one of the reasons I feel lonely is when a lot of people just speak French on servers (mainly SM). Not that I hate French people (and I generally can understand French tho), but on a lot of servers French is the main language and not really English. I don't want to say that French needs to be forbidden, but it should just be better if there would be more focus on English. I remember that Trackmania still is English focussed and has a bigger playerbase in general.
*Specifically Trackmania titles: they should be put together (so all the environnements).
*Specifically Shootmania: putting all the gamemodes more integrated in 1 platoon.
Because that's a quite big problem, the playerbase is already smaller than it used to be and is spread more.

- Last thing that should help finding more people to play: if some popular youtubers could play the game (just once). It works really, I've read that Pewdiepie played a small unpopular game and it got so popular suddenly. Not that he has to play sm and tm but just other youtubers (good way of advertisement really :) )

PS: Written this fast so please don't mind my spelling errors ;)
