Ur solution is better for an international lan, while I was talking more about a local lan ( limited to a country )... but I completely agree. But it sounds expensive :p expensive but necessary

1) Make Elite Complete Free to Play (without any restrictions, advertise Shootmania Elite as f2p on steam)

Why Elite? A 100% free Elite = boring to me. And as most of the vocal players of Elite are usually against any kind of change, whether its gameplay updates, new blocks, new maps, or anything else, it doesn't matter what you do with Elite, they complain always, so leave them as they are.

If we were to have a 100% free mode, make it a mode that is more casual and easy to jump in and out of, that isn't about training for weeks on a restricted set of maps, that isn't dependant on a set number of players, that is more welcoming.

If we were to have a 100% free mode, make it a mode like Battle, which seems to welcome variation and new players quite well already. The gameplay is immediate and fast. Solo players can easily slip into active servers, without the need for matchmaking or training. And with the universal demo being there, these free players may try other modes such as Elite, ...it could maybe work to bring players.... whether it would work to make any money at the same time is another matter, and I don't know the answer

Edit: Royal would also be a good free mode as it is a online solo mode and most free players are unlikely to be in a team already.

If you mean this.... then thats not what he said ...

At least, we can test a limit of 1000 on Elite (making it virtually free forever until it becomes popular enough) I can change it in a minute. But since I am quite fed up of these negative discussions, I would rather make a deal with some of you to stop being uselessly (in my opinion) negative.

Its not possible on Steam.
Didnt Cerovan explain this? I think he said it wasnt possible because of several reasons^^ At least that is what I understood.
