I think the funniest news is that people are concerned that a TM game with only one environment won't sell. How many "environments" do the hundreds of simulation/NASCAR games have? One. Maybe with lots of different tracks, but, after a while, the feeling is the same...sharp left, broad left, chicane, long straight, U-turn, sweep right, repeat ad nauseum. Or, with NASCAR...Left, left, left, left, left, left, left....ROFLMAO I'm not discounting the merits of either of those games, before anyone jumps on me, and I have copies of both Gran Turismo 4 and Nascar Racing 4, and play them regularly. The difference between that and Trackmania is that, even with one environment, there are endless possibilities. You can -make- the simulation-style Nascar/GT courses if you like--or, you can also break the rules and go completely nuts, which is half the fun of TM.
