It's mandatory to have a trophy/achievement list when you release a game on console (With the exception of the Wii U), so yeah.Stringers wrote:Is it planned to have PSN Trophies and Xbox Achievements? Most games for consoles have that.

I don't see why the Steam achievements would be different than the console ones.

Usually Uplay games have their achievements on Uplay only, not on Steam. Does that mean TMT will be one of the few exceptions having both Uplay and Steam achievements?PapyChampy wrote:I don't see why the Steam achievements would be different than the console ones.

Please, anyone can confirm if the limit will be in the PC version too?SqueelCr wrote:Wat why?matsilagi_tmu wrote:So, from the streams that i saw, here's the highlights:
-The blocks needs to be unlocked
-There's a blocklimit on the editor (7500 coppers is the limit)
if yes I'm going to cancel my preorder... sorry, but this is beyond stupid.
Thanks.

Silly expectations are also stupid. And if you cancel your order only because of that... isn't that stupid, too?SixelAlexiS wrote:Please, anyone can confirm if the limit will be in the PC version too?

Most probably Turbo will be exactly the same for all 3 platforms - same visuals, same limitations.
Only about higher resolution and better frame rate on PC we might argue

Then you perhaps better just wait for Lagoon and skip the fun that Turbo will hopefully make

Can't we use Cheat Engine or something like that to mod the limits?TMarc wrote:Most probably Turbo will be exactly the same for all 3 platforms - same visuals, same limitations
I mean, this kinda would break the ingame system of sharing (if it exists) but i think its possible to some extent.

Re: Questions & Answers Trackmania Turbo
The goal is to secure the 60 FPS on console. The really cool thing is that we spent a lot of time at optimizing the blocks and it will benefit also the PC version, and alter Maniaplanet. So, less coppers will do more! On PC, while this limit makes less sens, it still makes some sens for the spirit of Turbo: as a more casual PC player, you would not end up with having huge difference of performance on maps and have to look for "lightweight" map servers. So, I think it's a little early to raise the limit for this multiple reasons: first look at how creators use this version, let's see how the limit impacts the feeling of Turbo and I could not hide that I fear that the day we raise the limit, we would close in an undefinite way the ability to share maps later between platform (of course, if we don't do it, we would end up with worse case, but it's often the case when you want to keep options open)
Re: Questions & Answers Trackmania Turbo
Hylis, can you confirm my theory that Turbo is just an updated version of Maniaplanet with just some features from MP disabled? I imagine it would be relatively simple for you guys to port most (or all) of the new Turbo features to Maniaplanet, would it not?
