This is totally wrong and you know it. Check the version information of Maniaplanet client and dedicated server
There's a difference between Dedicated servers version and client version.
As I can see (and you know it too), the last update was in 2014. I don't remember any kind of updates in 2015...

But as you said, we're going on an another subject :p

So what? I gave Maniaplanet as example that Nadeo does actually give updates and patches.
But not as much as needed, MP is still full of bugs and instead of fixing simply nothing did happen. Maybe they hope that the people that did the bug reports just leave MP so they don't have to fix them? :teub:
I don't have any reason to trust in nadeo at fixing bugs, they did a bad job at it the last 10 years and it seems like they will continue the next years the same way if ubisoft does not close them if TMT flops.

Yes and no. Typically they updated the dedicated server matching to the client updates.

there was only as example some controller related update, the gravity settings, the chase mode, and some more.
It's only a pity that they stopped writing client update news in the forum.

But when Nadeo sees that the community is not really using it in long term, then they won't provide new features if they are requested only by individuals.
You tend to easily blame Nadeo for their quite questionable release and update politics, but it is also the task of the community not to always ask and complain, but also to try to make the best.

Look at xrayjay and reaby/Oliverde8 as examples, they are still providing lot of stuff for us, and we can't thank them enough :)

Of course I know that stuff and I'm following every kind of devellopers in this community :D (as I'm becoming one aswell)

BUT !

As TheBigG said, there bugs, especially in Shootmania.
There some stuff to rework (Improving the HUD, the Matchmaking,etc...) This stuff can't be done by community.

We're not asking to add new features but we want some bug fixing about the game. I'm sorry but especially on Shootmania, NADEO do things for creators, not for players.

Nadeo wants to do things for creators so those can do things for players which they didn't imagine at all.
It's clear that some people expect a finished and reliable game, and others want to mod everything.
Actually there was recently some discussion about Shootmania features here, there is also a reply from Hylis and others regarding the same point: development of Shootmania.

How Turbo is really, and how Nadeo and Ubisoft will proceed there, we have to see...

This!

If they got the basement stable they can add what they want as long as it don't break the base again. How you want to run serious cups if at 200 players 25 % of the players crash out of the game before they are able to cross the finish line. Sure you could split it on 4 different servers but than you need 4x the time to run your cup or you just can cover 25% of the event with your stream.

I'm sorry i really like Trackmania but there is really still a lot of work at their already released games there is no need for even more stuff to fix. But i can understand that they have to sell things to keep their jobs so they and we are at a lose lose situation, lets hope they make with TMT enough money to have time to get this game out of beta.

@Nadeo if the problem is that you don't have track of your bugs, I'm happy to host you a bugtracker :roflol:
