[WORKAROUNDS FOR BUGS] Trackmania Turbo

Yo Guys,

I found some workarounds for some known Bugs:

Bugfixes for Trackmania Turbo!
Bug:Water gets Black pixels inside -
Answer:Change the Waterreflectionsettings to [Middle]!
Bug:Flickering Clouds -
You need to disable Filtering to "None" i notice the Bug only appears when you turn on "Filtering"!
Bug: Low Textures on Cars and Decoration while rendering a Replay -
Open the Replay normal inside the Mediatracker edit everything you need too after editing cameras. close the mediatracker - go to replay editor, instead of clicking on Advanced Editor click on Shoot Video -

Well...yes. At least these workarounds are okay to wait for the patch but... it should not be the solution.

Bug: (mentioning it here because it's a uPlay issue -> part of this game)

After controller disconnection, mouse doesn't work anymore and every time you move it loud beeps will come out of your speakers. Keyboard will still work but after disconnecting, you can't reconnect it. Hardboot necessary for fix.

Solution:
Uninstall KB3140743 and KB3140768.
You can permanently disable these updates with this utility: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... de.diagcab

Optional but recommended: Connect your Xbox Controller via cable (not wireless), open the Xbox app and update the firmware.

c) extract TrackmaniaTurbo.exe into the game folder
d) launch until a game crash
e) zip and copy your crash logs here
(theses logs have more information)

Please note that this "exe with logs" is a bit slower than the original one.

(jdonnelly) Since I am using the Trackmania Turbo.exe from the Trackmania Turbo_logs.zip the game hasn't crashed once. I will continue to play to see if it crashes.

(yrrational) same here. no crashes after using the debug version and the steam controller.

(jdonnelly) Then it looks like there are bugs in the release version exe file of Trackmania Turbo.

Graphic Bug: Flickering of grid at Stadium Loops

Screenshot bug: Using the [Print Screen] key to take a screenshot (at least in the demo version on my PC) somehow takes a screenshot several seconds in the past!

Workaround: Make sure the Display Mode in Graphics Settings is set to "WindowedFull". Another benefit of this mode is that restoring the window after minimizing it is so much easier.

Before (FullScreen):

1. Restore the window.
2. Maximize the window.
3. Flicker, flicker, flicker! >_<

After (WindowedFull):

1. Restore the window.
2. The window is automatically maximized.
3. No flicker!
