Nvidia GeForce GT 635M and steam problem?

Hello,

it's maybe a year, since when I have a problem with graphic card in Trackmania United Forever and 2 Stadium in Steam. When I play Trackmania Launcher via Steam, that in settings I have Intel graphic card with 2 GB which I have on Nvidia 635M . Then in game I can't set up full settings (motion blur, blur, etc. ) http://s20.postimg.org/xukndvgbx/screenshot_325.png .
BUT, when I play Launcher without Steam (it works only in United Forever, because when I try start Stadium Launcher it says me, that I must install Shootmania Storm, but I don't have Shootmania) , the game runs via Nvidia graphic card and I can set up full settings http://s20.postimg.org/e18jl62y5/screenshot_325.png .

I found on the internet, that this problem is maybe in GfxDevicePerfs.txt file, where I must delete Intel graphic card. BUT this works only once in Trackmania Stadium, after restart the game I can't set up almost nothing and game shows up Intel in settings again (in GfxDevicePerfs.txt file it's Intel again) .

Its very strange bug. I have Lenovo G580 (20150) with Intel Core i5 3210M (3,2 GHz) , Nvidia GeForce GT 635M 2GB (with actual Nvidia 378.78 driver , 8 GB RAM and Windows 7 PRO x64bit.

Thank you in advance, i hope, that this problem can be solve. Is there any solution to fix games starts with Steam, or fix Trackmania Stadium without steam?

I don't know if this problem on Steam, or in Trackmania games or or somewhere else.

I would suggest you go to http://maniaplanet.com/

click on download and install it without steam.

I think this launcher will prevent such bugs made up by the steam version.

Just log in with your account and you will have your TM2 titles in the menu.

But when I install this game manually via Stadium installer, I can't play this game via steam well?

Why in hell would you even want to play it with steam....

I wasnt meant to be there in first place.

The steam workshop is so dump in my opinion.

But you still can add the new exe to steam to have the steam overlay.

Dude,

Steam versions of all things Trackmania are a lousy joke for various reasons I won't expand upon here. You're better off activating your key once through it, then switch to the non-Steam binaries afterwards.
