When I tried to change my profile picture and click on "add your own picture button", nothing happens. It does not recognize that I'm clicking on it.
Any help would be appreciated because I really want to change my profile picture.

Did you purchase the game? Because customization is only possible for the full version.

Yes I did purchase all of the Trackmania games as well as the Shootmania and tried doing it from Maniaplanet and from any game, but still can't change my profile picture.
At first it worked, but after not playing it for a long time, it's not working somehow before it was updated.

Did you convert your account to the new version?
Means: login on the new player page... https://v4.live.maniaplanet.com/login

No, still nothing.
Re: Can't change profile picture
Ah ok. Well, adding an own picture is not that easy for Maniaplanet.
It needs to be in the format DDS. Other formats I did not try.
I guess the function you're trying to use has never been working so far.
And the best is to place the avatar image file manually in your Maniaplanet own documents, folder Skins\Avatars.
Ideally you would upload it to a web storage that allows direct http download without intermediate scripts or other pages.
Then you can also use a locator
