New Trackmania game?

Hi guys,

I've got a simply quesiton. Do you think Ubisoft works on a new Trackmania game? I'd love to see that coming. I guess there are some people on this forum which know something more and might answer my question. I play Trackmania since 2009 and both TM2 and TM Turbo haven't satisfied me as much as Trackmania Nations/United. I'd like to hear from you.

First of all, Ubisoft is not the developer studio for TrackMania, it's Nadeo. Ubisoft is just the publisher.
It is highly unlikely and more than counter-productive at this point to release a new game, since the main focus is on Maniaplanet with TM2 and SM for now.

For the anniversary soon they could release the old environments as new official titles. This would be nice and a big surprise, although it was requested and expected already for long time.

On the other hand, they are very busy as always, and there are already two community based titles that try to recreate the old games, and not even bad.

We will see...

I doubt that they'd add the cars before the environments. Also I don't think that they would take their time to just bring some old environments to a newer game, that'd be a huge downgrade and wasted time imo

Hylis is always telling that the Nadeo team has increased and that they have lot of working capacity...
you never know on what they are really working (except the fixes with currently see very well).

So... let's wait and see.
