[ShootMania Spawn Point Options]

be able to go into advanced options
-time limit increases (1st respawn = 1 second, then add 1 second for each new respawn.. up to 10 seconds)
-zero respawns (you die you become a camera, this will make for some interesting matches, where you really die)
-no time limit, no respawn limit (matches that last forever, where the only time limit is your true life obligations)
-no spawn point (jump in anywhere with a parachute) (this is an awesome idea) (let the respawner see gunfire)







remember these are just suggestions
-if you don't like them don't argue against them, just make your own

imo the respawns should be adjusted to different match modes - if there will be different match modes - like:
-> free mode: instant respawn
-> clan mode: you die, you wait until the end of the round, and the last man standing brings a point to the clan

Of course it totally depends on the mode(s) that Nadeo has in mind for this game.

Hmm, what about this idea?

Team mode:
If you die and respawn is disabled, then the dead player will become a camera, which can run through the level. And the team members, which are still allive will be able to connect to this camera and see, what the user of the camera can see. (e.g. where the opponents are). The opponents can also shoot the camera and then the player is finally out of the match ^^

don't like it tbh, because then you'll always have strategic suicides in the beginning of the match... :lol:

Why is respawning such an issue? Just because MW2 did it wrong doesn't mean Nadeo makes the same mistake, this is a very simple and unimportant thing. We don't even know how all this will work, and i'm sure Nadeo will not mess this up.

if respawning is made possible its a bit easy to know where a player might pop up.

Same as wolfenstein ET i played it for 2 years and then didnt play for full 2 years, came back after and still alot of players come the same way as back 4 years ago. So no i think spawn points should not be included.

no spawn points?...hmm... maybe "respawn areas".

-be able to select where you want to respawn within a certain area of a captured base or flag
-parashute into the area to reduce or eliminate spawn campers
-map makers should be able to adjust the radius of the respawn (from tight - to - entire map)

-or select random respawn within the area

this is just a suggestion

I would say, if we discuss about the respawning, the respawn are seems like a nice idea, also the possibility to adjust the respawn radius. (But i won't allow people to select a place over the whole map.) Nevertheless i like to do a parashut jump respawn in the whole area, which is controlled by the own team. Or very close to the borderline (maybe up to 40-50m), to allow sneak attacks and to get behind the enemy. If this is fone, maybe also the possibility to chooseif you wanne send up to 3 flashbombs (3 places near to your jumping place) first, before you jump.

Just a little idea, what could be cool, but i think something like this won't be in a game (at least not in shootmania, because we don't kill people here ^^)

ok, not the entire map, but as you take over more locations, increase the area you can drop in on.

and for maps with only 2 spawn points (one for each team) make the area one side of the map VS the other side. Meaning that one team has option to jump in on the entire side of the map their team controls.

maybe the commander has the option to change spawn flag radius with using limited command points.






even if there is no killing in NADEO's world, there has to be a way to send players to a spawn point if you shoot them. Even in paint ball, if you are shot, you are sent back to the base.

This sounds creative and funny...although JJ has a point with the system being abused...that's similar to the problem of the original PF and booster maps in earlier incarnations of TM...
