Skinning question: TRON lines?

Hey all, got a question for the advanced skinners here: Is it possible/how can you make parts -other- than what's explicitly provided in detailsIllum.dds glow? Because I saw a mad skin of a TRON bike that was a clan vehicle, and now I know -exactly- how I'm going to make police lights for TM2! Integrate them right in the frame Is this possible?

yes, but Illum.dds is applied on details parts, but is ON only on Night and Sunset moods.

Oh. So I'd have to create a custom 3D model for this to work? Drat. I'm no good at 3Ding...
