Skinnin' a specific thing

Can someone explain me please, how to paint (step by step):
-Wheels (the ingame painter do it really bad).
-Glasses

Maybe a psd file, ready to skin would be nice

Wheels: skin the car in the painter and when you are finished, use the prelight layer and than the wheels looks nice too. But i have a other idea, that could helpfull... post it in some minutes.
