Since the Beta update message popped up I've started my game client about 50 times, watched the update progress bars NOT move, always getting the same time-out error.
I have installed the 60Mb update which xbx kindly posted the other day but still no luck;
uninstalled all then reinstalled the original package but still no luck;
turned my firewall off, disabled antivirus, cleaned the cache,
washed the dishes - still no luck. *All as Administrator, as xbx advised.If I only use the first Beta (log saved), I can at least play, although I can't join my own updated servers. If I apply the Beta update (log also saved), the 'This title isn't playable' message ends my fun.
So my polite question, with only a few days left until official release, is do I/ we just wait now for the final (post-Beta) package?
