Re: [Mod] Tundra Texture Pack
Some quick feedback:
First, was I supposed to use this mod for no charge? I downloaded it and it never asked me to pay panets.
Secondly there is a bug which makes using this mod impossible: there are fast moving grey lines all over the terrain. I guess it has something to do with the cloud shadows?
Apart from that I think the mod is great. I especially like the fact that you didn't try to make everything white and snowy. So now there is a nice contrast between the grey tracks and platforms and the white environment. The only other thing that I would change to "snowy" is the green grassy part of the race tracks.
And is it possible to change the color of the skidmarks to white? I think this has been asked before.
Really great work. When this is polished it will be a great mod!

No, thats not possible, the Skidmarks are no Part of the Mod. Have the same Problem with my Mod.TheMagician wrote:And is it possible to change the color of the skidmarks to white?
Re: [Mod] Tundra Texture Pack
@TheMagician: I am aware of this bug, I will upload a fixed version soon but there is a VERY simple workaround. Open the .zip file and delete the "Clouds.dds" from each mood folder (as in the Day, Night, Sunrise and Sunset folders in the Moods folder). This will fix the issue. The reason i'm not uploading the fix straight away is because i am working on a few requests from people, Notably adding snow to roads. Also the zip version is not supposed to cost Planets, But when i re-upload it with fix+changes it will cost 80 Planets, This is purely because i want to get a bit of planets from these mods. If you/other people disagree with the price i will definately lower if if you think it is too much.

Re: [Mod] Tundra Texture Pack
i think it's too much, it represent 4 days of connection, and people should be able to download more than just a mod per week. IMO, mods with full changes and lots of work shouldn't be more expensive than 20 planets, and basic mods should be like 10 planets.
Putting your mods on maniapark will still give you some planets days after days, and you don't need to be planets millionnaire

Re: [Mod] Tundra Texture Pack
I must say I dislike the whole planets "payment" system (this is nothing against your mod).
Why would you need it in the first place?
I also think that 80 planets is too much. The valley mod by CoastKid costs 50 planets which I still find a lot. But of course that's up to you.
Thank you for the description of how to fix the shadow issue. Really nice work with your mod.
