race against other peoples times

I want to see other peoples offical times and race against their ghosts. Even in trackmania united, watching someone elses replay was a real nuisance. After downloading the replay we had to leave the map, go through tons of menu's and finally in the editor we could watch the replay. I was hoping this would be fixed in Trackmania 2. But it got even worse, now we can't even race against or watch other peoples replays.

I want to ask for the following options:
1. The option to download replays of other people.
2. Race against those replays downloaded from other people.
3. The option to watch replays of the opponents you can select to race against, directly from selecting opponents to race against.

Turns out this is possible, only in the typical cryptic trackmania way.
When you choose your opponents there is an arrow next to "Medals".
Pressing left will take you to the records of players in your province, country and the world, there you can select their time and race against it.

Official replays cant be watched for some reason. Pretty annoying imo, I hope for a fix.

That only allows me to play against my own replays. And why do they make that so difficult? Every time I start racing a track again I have to set a new record to see my ghost, instead of just always showing the fastest ghost.

Please Nadeo respond to this, explain why you are blocking.
