[Solved] Cant Advertise properly

Hello,

I have issues in creating an add. If i click on a link/button, its like i press 4-5 times on it.

The farest i could manage to achieve so far, is set everything to set step 3. , i guess, Title /Manialink / picture.

i have allready an add waiting for validation , buts an add with a missing step "set your budget"

i cant recreate the add while it will break each time after title/manilink/ picture
or even before a lot.

I'm not sure I understand. Can you explain precisely when (ie. after doing what) you get the error, and maybe post a screenshot?

Main Problem -----------------------------------------

If i click on a button it makes a tiny noise, i think. a small click if i remember. if i click on advertise here.

its like i click 4-5 times by doing one click. so it makes click,click,click,click in a rush.

also the textcolor which changes onover is flickerin heavily.

Sub Problem ----------------------------------------------
Even if i dont finished all the required steps after 21/2. An add is waiting for validation. but on this add is not set the Buget and the image is also old and in the wrong ratio. 3/4 like on tv i took.

i tryed to delete the waiting validation add by menu: your adds-> x on top right , but might be the wrong place for deleting adds.


i guess now you will understand the problem much easier.

What do you mean by "it breaks"? What happens? Do you see any error message? Related question: do you have a bad Internet connection?

I checked you ad, and the image has a wrong ratio. As indicated when you create your ad, the ratio of your image should be 4:1 (eg. 400x100 px).

it breaks means, im one step 2 and next step 3 i wont get to because it close the wizzard.
i can see the startingscreen, with the "advertise here" buttons and this happens again and again.

No there is no error message. but its like click,click,click,click if i click on the button its like it will be fired 4-5 times but im just doing normally one click.

sub problem
yes the image is old so i tried to remove not properly processed add from the list by pressing the x on the right side on the waiting validation window with no effect. but i could life with the image if its that difficult for me to create an add.

Do you have cookies enabled in Internet Explorer (IE is the Web engine used by Windows hence by the trackmania)?

If not, to do so in Windows go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Privacy tab. For example my settings is on "Medium".

Mhh i dont know if its import to update internet explorer. but some games use the api of internet explorer ingame.
maybe trackmania too. so i allowed internet explorer cookies everything. After Title/Manialink/Picture im at the starting position.

okay i tried : to make the inserts by keyboard, same effect. doing a lot of actions and back to start.
i tried : launcher -> input -> alternate method and exclusive , no effect.
i tried : launcher -> input -> alternate method + exclusive access, no effect

4. "Set your Budget" not solved.
5 "Review & checkout" not solved.

I checked the error logs, and it's really the same behaviour as when people have cookies disabled in IE, so be sure to double check that. Maybe there's a problem with the API of IE7, can you maybe update to IE8 or 9 ?

okay i will try tomorrow or later. i upgrade just 6 -> 7 to see if it might be the cure for the problem.
But now have discovered that my tmu server doesnt server soundfiles on normal users (no admin accounts), i guess this might not fit in here

I updated from 7 -> 8. I could make all necessary steps including "set budget" and checkout.
So it looks like 8 is required for ManiaPub.

I did not do while my freewebspace i uploaded tikea to , is offered for sale. its not working right now.

A new question would be , what happens if im not online for a longer term of time and i dont have coopers on my account,
will be removed the add automatically or get i a finance dispo ?

Solved the music issue. Direct download for freewebspace means not , that its directly accessable by a dedicated tmuf server.
After using an old account for upload urls the music started to play.
