How to make someone online see my skin?

Post by afterimage »

I was talking to some guy online earlier, and he said that for someone to see my car, that I would need a locator or locator file?
Does anyone know what this is and if they could help me?

If you want to know more about locators, here you can find a good tutorial on locators and what they do: http://tutorials.mania-creative.com/tm_ ... ndex-eng-1
The only thing you have to remember is that it is an TMNF tutorial, it all works the same as in TM2, but you have place the locator in the same location as your zip and that is in my documents/maniaplanet/skins/vehicles/canyoncar.

Good luck!

perhaps you already figured it out but this is something i know and usualy i dont know nothing :D
the easiest way is to share it on maniapark, then they will provide a locator with you can download and save in same map as the car.
otherwise you can use dropbox(its free), make an account and upload the skin to the public folder and copy the public link.
then open notepad and paste copied url in there and save as and name it the same as your carskin incl. .zip and add .loc at the end like: mycarskin.zip.loc and save it in same folder as the car.
Good Luck!
