After a "tiny" discussion about how much outro's are hated and loved we've came on the following idea:
The ability to watch the "Replay" or just "Follow" the car while watching a Replay, just like online Spectator mode. You can already switch between the Outro-like replay or live following the car. Following is basically the outro without effects/cameras/etc.
This would be a great feature while offline replay watching, for a few obvious reasons. Currently people "Edit" the replay and remove all cameras to reach this effect. This simple feature would fix it.
Ability to switch from "Replay" to "Follow" mode in replays.

Re: Ability to switch from "Replay" to "Follow" mode in repl
Lots of times people will download a replay much better than their time so they can study the racing line the better driver used.Demented wrote:People don't like outros? Why?
I care more about having fun than getting great at the game, so I watch replays mostly for the outros. But it's not hard to understand how the outros could be a hinderance to those who just want to see what the driver did so they can copy the driver.

Good to know. I actually like watching / editing replays. Makes a good screen saver.

Re: Ability to switch from "Replay" to "Follow" mode in repl
At the end of a race I also like some cool looking outro, but for a random replay I'd like to set it to "Follow" so I can see how to drive better.
Just how it goes in online mode, I spectate the best one in follow mode to see what he does better then I do myself.
