Custom car sound - NOT ENGINE , but scratching and slides an

This is not about custom engine sounds that works fine ..

But sounds of scratches slides crashes .. and other effects i dont wanna in .. i know those are in
C:/programdata/maniaplanet/packscache/TMCanyon_HD.zip ..
are these files kinda protected.. cause when i removed sounds of effects from in there .. and saved it .. started the game.. it immediatelly recognized that it was modified.. and wanted to update to original file ..
I dont wanna those effects.. is there a way to remove them ?

You want to completely remove the scratch/bump car effects? Or do you want to replace them by any of your own?

Remove.. just to hear engine sounds.. not those SFX

If you don't want to hear the sound, you can try replacing each audio file by an audio file which has no sound.

Just a guess, I'm not sure if this works...

No, I doubt this would work...
TMUF had sounds which were able to be replaced, so they often were.
Canyon, however, has sounds which are hard-coded into the game, and are revalidated every time the game starts up....
Sorry, but I think you're stuck with them. If anyone knows different, feel free to correct me, as I don't know much about the internals. ^-^

yea in that fucking zip file.. and it is validated every time .. and actually i`m thinking of making just volume leveling of those same sounds to 0 or 1 they`ll keep size but will be uncatchable by human ear.. i`m gonna try and let u know
