Twitch automatically stores streamed stuff for later, so you should be able to see it whenever you want.LBF wrote:Can anybody record the transmission?

Re: A Twitch.tv tournament and the E3!
just dropping in to say
HOLY SHIT
THIS IS INCREDIBLE TO WATCH
I AM MORE HYPE RIGHT NOW THEN I HAVE EVER BEEN WATCHING FINALS AT QUAKECON
You really hit the nail on the head with this one.
I do think you need to offer players the option to bind run and jump to different keys, having multiple functions on one key takes away from precision, was one of the major complaints about Red Orchestra 2 that they had bandage/cover/use all on one key. Maybe it works better then it sounds like it does, but I doubt it.

Around 25:50 someone caps the point so that it changes colours but he doesn't stay long enough on it to register. (Watch from 25 minutes onwards it's a great round)
That's a bug/alpha thing right?
Seems to me that when it changes colours, it should be registered. And more importantly, I don't think you should need to stay on that capture point for x amount of time in that particular game mode, even if it is just a split second.
EDIT: well it seems to be intentional, don't really know if I like it yet.
EDIT2: Well after seeing the tourney, it might be justified. If you could just swoop in with 3 defenders on scene and immediately cap the point, why bother fighting at all? It would encourage gambling too much I think.
Someone did exactly that on Solar Flare(?) and he just ran a little circle around the capture point to cap it. If he could just cap it immediately it wouldn't really seem fair.
