Just think about the practical issue with the KI. How the hell will you program a AI, which is able to find the ways through a user made map, while using jump pads and stuff? Even if it's programmable, it will need so much of calculation that it's not feasible to run more than 1-2 instances on one PC and being able to play it also on it.
But the idea of the map with the huge well, it sound pretty funny
Thx for finding and for translating the article.

That's right, tcq, I didn't think of that yet.
But that leads me to the thought that you may be able to create your KI (or AI, as it would be in English, I think) via Editor or Script.
Like, you can tell them which way they can go, like a MediaTracker or something like that.
I really hope, something like that will be possible.

You got me there, i meant AI and messed something up in my head. But if this would be possible with Maniascript, there are definitly some geeks in this community which would be able to pull off a self coded AI. So let's hope nadeo holds this possibility or will integrate it sometime in the future as an update

Well, maybe there will be no bots, but what if, with maniascript, you can make some sort of booby traps, intelligent stationary guns that react on players speed, distance and what more?

sry but pls respect normal players, not all can make a script
and bots on your own map... that would be awesume but its near impossible ( that they move intelligent and dont run against every rock

)

Who knows?
Maybe it will be relatively easy...
I'm sure the community will come up with nifty little programs using "script building blocks", containing all code for a certain behaviour/action, where you can assemble a script by just combining some of these blocks.

yeah but that will need some time.. and they dont have the time for that
maybe it will come later with the other environments
another one
why is it called Storm at Gamestar? I thought first one would be Cryo?

Storm was officially announced by Nadeo at Gamers Assembly.

The community consists of hundreds of thousands of players, how can you know they don't have time to make something?
