I don't care too much about the cost, rather the planet bonus because it helps me in the game

Here, again, I'm going to pipe up and ask--what are coppers used for? Sorry for my stupid, but after Sunrise, I could never figure out the purpose of coppers--other than some obvious purchasing things. But without manialinks and etc, are coppers really used for anything just straight-up ingame? Other than as something of a marker for the weight of the track?

it can be used for single mode, thats all without donating , servers , etc.

Well, there are betting plugins that use coppers ingame.
else everything is indirect usage indeed, like bail for servers, and the possibility to buy tags and to buy content from manialinks.

You can use them to buy more friend spots.
I have like 400 extra friend spots

The only things i used coppers for were the following
- play for official times
- use them online to jukebox maps on mistral
- donate them for competitions
- buy extra friend slots

Never found any other application for them.

Ahh. I see now. Thanks everybody for the replies. Now, back to the OP's topic--while I don't necessarily agree with the idea of a discount for United owners--those that have supported the series all the way through should get, I dunno, maybe a "TM-Veteran" skin or something. (note: the "or something" means it doesn't have to be my idea--just something that popped into my head. )

Nadeo has been doing this virtually since Nations ESWC was released.

In Nations ESWC, players could enter game keys from TMO or TMS on the official website and "validate" their account, allowing others to see custom car models they were using.

In United (pre-Forever...though I think they still do it in Forever), you could go to a manialink and enter a TMS or TMS serial key and receive a daily copper bonus.

If the past 5 years are any evidence, then they'll do something for TM2 as well.

Before forever's release you could buy TMU with like 35k coppers + tax all sent to nadeo, it was a little retarded to have to pay coppers to send coppers to nadeo but what ever.
