I think you can download it, but you have to pay for the key. So you could dowload the (e.g.) german version and type in the key a week later and play ;)

I don't think you'll be able to download only the game without a key. Because that would be a great chance for people who like to crack games with keygens etc. Together with lots of ROMs which would be on the internet, it would result in people being able to play TM² illegally. And I'm pretty sure neither Nadeo nor Ubisoft want that. They want to make TM² as unhackable as possible. And giving out games for free so people only need to generate a fitting key to play doesn't really help for that, does it? ;)

But with TM1, keygens didn't work because the key was only activated upon purchase...so even if you coincidentally came up with a key that matched the formula of TMs keys, you still wouldn't be ale to use it because you would either A) be using another user's key which wouldn't work, or B) be using a key that hadn't been approved by TMs servers yet.

We don't even know for sure if there -is- a boxed version.

So guys i guess it's just Nadeo's accident that they add "PC CD-Rom" label by mistake.

Hardly an accident, Ubisoft designed the new site and published it under their domain. It could well and truly be an accident, but I'm going with Australian retailers agreed to publish the boxed version.

Indeed we don't. My interpretation could be wrong and as Furious stated, it could have been an accident.
