Yeah, but you need to put things into perspective. TMU offers content that goes way back from 2004. Of course TMU appears more complete. Canyon isn't even a year old.
It's not really the point to compare TMU and Canyon imo.
Each enviro' got a different flavour, and that's what I like in TM. Canyon is no exception.

I just don't get why on its release Canyon couldn't offer everything TMUF has (I don't mean envis, but all the functions/etc).

Re: ALL of the games in the trackmania franchise
For various reasons. Puzzle, for example, wasn't put into the game, because stats showed that this mode wasn't played at all. (I think it was between 1% and 4 % of players)
However, if things have disappeared about the transition TMU => Canyon, many new features appeared, too. The editor was significantly improved, for example.
Anyways, about getting new content for the game : we're getting to it. Platform is a good start.
Bright side people !

am I the only one who thinks that editor became worse in some aspects, or it's just my imagination/low-end laptop?

Omnixor, The editor asks more to your computer, being able to place blocs variants above others, being able to intersect terraforming, etc.. these ask some computations.
Add to this that blocs are heavier in polygons : it's easy to reach 5000 c maps...a lot easier than in TMU . So...managing those leviathans cost more power aswell.

TM2 at least allows creation of e.g. a multiplayer track editor.

I'm always want to give Nadeo my money

Re: ALL of the games in the trackmania franchise
They definitely deserved it for TMU(F),every single cent. How much money did they even make...?More than a million?Hopefully. As for TM2,although it's still quite unpolished and lacks a lot,i believe for one it will become as great a hit as TMU.With a degree of patience.
Like,i've been out of commission for...SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO YEARS?
Right,that's kind of messed up.
