If you ask it this way, then there are no "official recommended requirements". It's everything above the minimum requirements and it depends on your graphical setup that you want to play with.
You can give a recommendation that works in 1024x800, but then a player with a huge wide screen and a 1900x1200 resolution would definitely tell you that the game runs not smooth. At least this is my impression of the "offical requirements". Haven still to read about one for canyon yet. Therefore I would guess that they are non existent.

Hey danodude,

I have a system with an old Core2Duo E6750, 4 Gb RAM, and an HD 6850, and Trackmania 2 still won't run at the ultimate settings.

The best I've been able to squeeze so far is pretty much everything maxed out except the shaders (which are set to Nice, not Very Nice, and that is a pity because the difference is quite visible :), the Lightmap quality (for which the Ultra flag is disabled with my card), and the particles which are set to High, Medium Opponents.

In this config, the game runs at 45-55 fps though. Setting the shaders to Very Nice makes the game look so much more beautiful but the fps drops to about 5 :(

Hope this helps,
kangroo

Would be great if you could also add on which resolution you are gaming, else we can't conclude anything :D

Ok that helps quite a bit. My desktop is plugged into a 1280 x 1024 monitor (I think it is ;))

I'll be able to work something out now :)

Thanks again
