:< the patch screwed my maniaplanet. everytime i have to restart the maniaplanet to apply the patch it asks me to redownload a patch of 25.73 MB ... than restart again and again and again. its gotten pretty annoying! anyone got a solution?

i got a bug regarding updating.
When i start the game it says i need to update to 1.3
So i update the game and it says i need to restart the game.
When i restart the game and go into my acocunt again it says i need to update to 1.3 again.
And this keep happening over and over again.
Please help!!!

Are you launching directly the ManiaPlanet.exe game ? Or are you using ManiaPlanetLauncher.exe ?
You need to use ManiaPlanetLauncher for the update to end correctly.

Mine updated fine (for once I'm lucky). But I see others on IRC with the same updating problem.

I just followed the instructions and the same happens to me, infinite updating..


Btw a little strange that I can't even play TM2 (which isn't in beta as far as I know) without installing the beta update.

Are you launching directly the ManiaPlanet.exe game ? Or are you using ManiaPlanetLauncher.exe ?
You need to use ManiaPlanetLauncher for the update to end correctly.

I am using the maniaplanetlauncher.exe but doesnt work

I used maniaplanetlauncher, and still it keeps on updating, also the game crashes always after it says you need to restart.
