Got the same error just now in a reproducible manner.
I start the game, try to join the server WTC Trial and I get instantly a crash to desktop.

A short excerpt from my crash log.

all clients are updated, the server as well (3.8.6).

in the majority of cases our users don't have connection problems with other servers ("UBISOFT Germany" e.g.). so i can't believe it's only a problem with the client (this is what the provider said) or an issue with some special maps only. currently there is only one single map installed on the server, some people can connect, some can't and vice versa. it's really getting on my nerves.

It seems to bo a Bug in the code (.\source\GameNetwork.cpp:5239). Nadeo must fix this.

I've tried to start the game in Compatibility Mode (Windows XP). This can help, but not for everybody and not all the time.

One year has passed and we still have a bug-game...maybe there are unsaveable things in the TM2 scene, but these things are just make it even more worse.

We need your help....and dont release updates like this. Oh and btw, waiting for the engine sound since months. etc etc.

Nadeo made an optional update yesterday, is this crash happening yet?

An Info for the Server Operators:

In the Config file "dedicated_cfg.txt" must be the following line:

<server_options>
		.....
		......
		<disable_horns>False</disable_horns>
		<clientinputs_maxlatency>0</clientinputs_maxlatency>		<!-- 0 mean automatic adjustement -->
</server_options>
The setting "<clientinputs_maxlatency>0</clientinputs_maxlatency>" are new and must be in the Config.

Compare the current with the template in the lastest Update.

Cette ligne doit apparaître normalement dans la config ??
Et si elle n'apparait pas par défaut, pourquoi ????
Arrange t'elle les soucis de lags également ?

Existing.

No updates are appearing.

Still bad.

Yes, no improvement here. I can't use my server for one week, it's a shame.

Try to use the new xaseco version 1.01 (if using xaseco) and disable the plugin "ForceMods". In our case at least the server runs stable.

Disable all expendable Plugins and test it.
