Re: Forbit Playerskins which are almost Invisible
It is sure that we have time to make things, but the question is what are the most important ones?

Re: Forbit Playerskins which are almost Invisible
Well, for now I actually stopped making any effort towards this, because at this moment, I don't see any value in it.

I can't find where to only disable player skins for Shootmania.TStarGermany wrote:You don't like custom skins? Fine, TURN THEM OFF.
I think that fairplay is something important for Shootmania. Camouflage skins go against that.Hylis wrote:It is sure that we have time to make things, but the question is what are the most important ones?
I hope that this kind of behavior will disappear soon.
Couldn't we use the report functionality to address this issue?

True, that's why I said before, that there are more pressing issues. Just don't completely forget about itHylis wrote:It is sure that we have time to make things, but the question is what are the most important ones?

Start up the Maniaplanet Launcher -> go to "Configuration" -> Advanced Settings -> Game -> Ignore Player SkinsAkbalder wrote:I can't find where to only disable player skins for Shootmania.TStarGermany wrote:You don't like custom skins? Fine, TURN THEM OFF.
I do think there are some more pressing issues, if you really hate them right now, disable them. I, too, am hoping for a filter function sometime later, though.Akbalder wrote:I think that fairplay is something important for Shootmania. What report functionality are you talking about exactly?

This would also disable skins in Trackmania. I don't want to do that just because some Shootmania players aren't fairplay.R3al1ty wrote:Start up the Maniaplanet Launcher -> go to "Configuration" -> Advanced Settings -> Game -> Ignore Player Skins
In-game, on the profile of each player, there is a button to report him.R3al1ty wrote:What report functionality are you talking about exactly?

Hm, sry, I don't play Trackmania.Akbalder wrote:This would also disable skins in Trackmania. I don't want to do that just because some Shootmania players aren't fairplay.R3al1ty wrote:Start up the Maniaplanet Launcher -> go to "Configuration" -> Advanced Settings -> Game -> Ignore Player Skins

But reporting a player because of a skin is kind of senseless, as he will just change his skin to something else?! With what do you want to threaten players with certain skins to make them stop??
I don't really understand...
Forcing enemies a specific color in the options is a usable fix till something like afilter lists are implemented.

there needs to be a serversetting wich turns it off that just standart male moddels are allowed no custum stuff.
its the most equal solution. i recently had some pcws where ppl had custom moddels tell me about it but i saw them less.
