It's what you all say but I'm sure you're also someone that is drooling watching Battlefield 3 trailers which will be a fail game copied from CoD series. So in fact, I rather play Pac Man than Fear 3.
Okay...wait a second. Battlefield is a fail game copied from CoD? I don't know where you get your data, but 1) the Battlefield series came first, 2) the Battlefield series is a much better game and 3) their servers aren't populated by a surplus of the failers of gaming--hackers, kiddies, and noobs. And further, I've yet to see a decent SP mod for the CoD franchise, however, there are several for BF2.
Battlefield always been a "Capture the Flag" game, And what got Battlefield 3 ? A SCENARIO !
Do you have a scenario in cooperation on Battlefield Play4Free which is a free remake of Battlefield 2 ? It's only about capturing flags, Call of Duty always had those fail scenarios which you jump from Tunisia to France in 5 mins.

:? Well, ya totally lost me with that last post--so I don't even know how to reply to you. From what I -can- understand, you're saying you don't like CoD OR the BF series, or any realistic game. Fine. More power to you. No need to argue with those of us that do, is what I'm saying. I, personally, like BOTH. I own both the original MarioKart as well as Gran Turismo 4. So I've got both ends of the spectrum. As well as Lego Pirates of the Carribean and of course, the aforementioned Battlefield 2. And am planning on getting 3 when I have a rig that can run it. So seki, just--don't be rude, ok? We each like what we each like, and there's nothin' wrong with that.

Depends highly on the genre. For example in FPS games; the more realistic the game is the more boring I find it to be. That's why I prefer Wolfenstein and Quake (where the player needs to aim more) over CoD or BF (which have a ridiculous spread (= doesn't need as much aim), superb craphigs, ironsights etc). But on the other hand if I am playing driving simulators I'm expecting them to be as realistic as possible to bring the real life feeling to it.

I think realism is not very important in one game..., the important is: graphics, gameplay and fun... like trackmania 1 8-)
