You can put the data for all users in /opt/maniaplanet-server/UserData..., and since permissions are only based on group membership (users that run the server must be member of the group "games") every users can use the server.
(We are using it for our servers and it's working fine for us  )

This is the best solution I found without modifying the server...
In this case, the same UserData folder is shared for everyone. It's working fine but everyone have to be careful with Configs / maps from other users ;)

Hmm for me I wanted to seperate all servers, so i can't use this :(.
Sorry about that. :(

I don't see any good way to support the way you want the server to work. If anyone has an idea I will take a look.

Since there is now a static link for the latest dedicated server, you can create your own script to download, unpack and upgrade your files.
I will provide such a script if some players wants to.

Yep right, I meant a solution without using any 'manual' operation :D

Yeah but I want that the userdata is strictly different and also the scripts.
It is the case by using cp to copy ;)

You link all the other files / folders and use local folders for UserData / Scripts :)

The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to stop ALL the servers at the same time when updating :)

I will include scripts to stop and restart servers automatically :)
