i think the only way to make it work would be to have the half loop and then the part that turns you up the right way. If it twists you while you are looping the physics will make you fly off the loop, unless it's sticky like Nym says (Hi Nym btw ;) ).

For this to work we need loop sections similar to stadium or island, and then we need a seperate block that flips you 180 degrees. I really like this idea, but it might have limited use (like a lot of the banked roads in island).

Well, i don't think this would go either...
The part would look something like this
Image
imagine you dive first a half loop, then your perspective would be:
Image

Case: u drove on the right side: could work, but you'd junp right after the part
Case: you drove on the left side: see ya, byebye
Case: mid: ok

So this would be very risky and would lead to much frustration ;)

ps: while writing i just got another idea, i'll edit it in later

I think u refer to the block in the ice halfpipe.
That is some sort of helix whether the block I showed is just a twist.
But my secon'd idea would be some kind of helix, jep (wednesday evening i will make a quick draw  )

Well, unfortunately I know the loop just from some videos, but it looks indeed not too easy

I thought I just sucked (I only had time to play about three tracks), so I'm glad to hear it's not me.
Actually I know I suck at TM2, but a little less than I previously assumed. :)

I've been sort of missing a block like described in TM1 games, so a good idea in theory.
It really wouldn't work in real life, but TM games add stickiness for wall-rides, so why not some extra stickiness for a block like this.
