Those are third-party community sites, Nadeo isn't hosting them, so it's not logical they'd be involved with their successors.

SadHik just confirmed Nadeo isn't involved with XX Carpark (not sure which one he means, TM or Mania), though Focus Home appears to have been involved with TM Carpark (they pay for the domain according to whois). And SadHik is the sole whois contact for Mania Carpark so that's clear.
TMX has always been an independent site (moved multiple times too), so that part is definitely correct I think.

All righty, WiiD...no need to get snippy here. I hope that Nadeo -will- be involved in Mania-X and Mania-CarPark because then they can help defrock some of the costs...but if they're not, still, TMX and TM-Carpark have been some of the community's greatest creations, and so I know that there will be support for them to continue.

I can just say what the articles say, and they said that tm-carpark will be included.

Nobody says that it must be the original carpark, it could be a new carpark from nadeo.

The article is not clear on how, but i can assure you that Carpark will stay independant, even if we "may" access it from maniaplanet... Accessing a website from a tool that is connected to the internet is not such a big deal
Nadeo can't make a carpark with the same rules as wa have on carpark, we're borderline on the legality of the whole 3d importing and Nadeo can't deal with that as the company that produce the game.

Ofcourse most of you guys are the actual webmasters of these sites but from what have read/heard there will nolonger be a need for sites like carpark and tmx because everything can be done ingame now... ???

But thats the case now too, you can sell ingame your cars...
Otherwise, its not comfortable, so the websites developed.

TMX was started by, is run by, and financially supported by, the community.

The new version of TMX will be called Mania Exchange and will support all upcoming ManiaPlanet titles. It's our hopes to go live with it by the time TM2 Canyon is released in September.

There may indeed be some way to access Mania Exchange through ManiaLinks in-game. Even now there is a ManiaLink for accessing TMX in-game, though it's quite limited.

Fastforza is coding the new site. I know he's quite active here as a Moderator. If you have any further questions about it, I'm sure he'd be happy to answer them in due time.
