Do you accidentally rightclick a player's name on the scoreboard? That switches you to spec.

nope, im in the middle of gameplay, i can literally just eliminate someone and bam im set as inactive. Can read it in the scrolling text as well as being sent into that mode. Definitely not looking at a scoreboard let alone clicking anyones name. Appreciate the suggestion though
