You know, people always complain when something is not working as expected.
When you ask them "What did you do?" then they always answer "Nothing, I swear, I don't know, I didn't change anything".
And if you keep asking them (you know the 5 whys method? :mrgreen: ) finally they start remembering, mostly ashamed...

But agreed, in some cases, hidden Windows updates cause miraculuous things, from worsening the issues up to spontaneous healing :mrgreen:

The screenshots show no normal map bumpmapping, so it's not the highest.

lightmap bump is automatically ON with the very nice settings (oops my bad, a while while ago it was a separate checkbox), but you can have a temporary lightmap that stores local light specularity.
(not saved on disk because it is heavy, so it's computed everytime you open a map, but it looks sexy).

launcher>advanced>compatibility>lightindex (bellow ultra lightmap)
